Christmas at Morningside is one of the most beloved on-campus music events of the year. A tradition that began in 1995, the performance attracts spectators from across the Midwest and is a crowning event for our university.
This year’s program entitled “Full of Grace and Truth” will feature an eclectic blend of Christmas and holiday music performed by the Morningside choirs under the direction of Dr. Josh Nannestad and Person, the Morningside University wind ensemble under the direction of Dr. Martin Gaines, and M Avenue Jazz led by Dr. Erik Mahon. “With a wide array of musical genres, this year’s Christmas at Morningside performances are sure to uplift the spirits and warm the hearts of those in attendance." - Dr. Ryan Person, director of choral activities
